Ah, hometown dates — they bring out the good, the bad, and the ugly of The Bachelorette season. We’re so close to the end, and basically any single one of these relationships can be kicked to the curb at any point. That kind of volatility is why I’m scoping out social media profiles of the contestants. They’re all at home now, regardless of winning, and I just want to know — is Luke Pell on The Bachelorette single?
Luke’s the total package – he’s hot, he can ride horses (which is important to my ten-year-old self), he’s kind, he was in the military he loves his family, and oh, he can sing He’s got great hair, this guy. Luke and JoJo had crazy chemistry off the bat, even though she made him chop and fill a manual hot tub with wood and then put her in it because it was too hot. That’s commitment right there. On Luke’s last date with JoJo, he talked about how he doesn’t have a plan for the next five years — he just wants to build a life with JoJo — and JoJo was super into it. So where does Luke stand now? Is he hiding out on social media because he’s engaged? Or just single and waiting to mingle?
Honestly, I can’t tell. His Instagram is a mix of pictures of himself, his family, and his friends. There are not really any women in the pictures (not in a romantic way, at least), but there wouldn’t be either way, would there? Really, I love Luke and JoJo together, and I would love to see these two ride off into the sunset together. Just give me a social media sign, Luke! If you’re not with JoJo, blink twice, or maybe Instagram a shot of you looking off into the distance. For me.
