On Monday, social media took an extremely negative turn when Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones was bullied on Twitter with a slew of horrific, abusive, and racist tweets. The treatment sent her way is beyond awful. Even though the Saturday Night Live comedian stood up against the trolls, the hate understandably took a toll on the star. "I leave Twitter tonight with tears and a very sad heart. All this cause I did a movie.You can hate the movie but the sh*t I got today...wrong," she tweeted early Tuesday morning. Now, many people are sending love her way. And right along with the fans, celebs are standing up for Leslie Jones with a range of tweets that prove just how beautiful and inspiring she truly is. Haters be damned.
When it comes to hate, the following tweets further prove that love goes a long way and that Jones is not alone in this tough time. After Jones tweeted asking Twitter to do something, "Twitter I understand you got free speech I get it. But there has to be some guidelines when you let spread like that. You can see on the ...
