The title Real Housewives is continually a misnomer, because so many of the cast members of the franchise are single, divorced, or divorcing. We’ve seen a few marriages (Tamra and Eddie Judge on Real Housewives Of Orange County), for instance, but the housewives of the Real Housewives are few and far between. The same goes for Real Housewives Of Melbourne ’s Pettifleur Berenger. She’s not married (and twice divorced), but she has been dating someone for the better part of a decade. Pettifleur's boyfriend is Frank Palazzo, and he's kind of a mystery.
Truth be told, the Internet is pretty dry of information about Frank. According to Pettifleur’s Bravo profile, he’s a businessman, and he and Pettifleur “have invested in a stable of elite race horses and Pettifleur enjoys jaunts around the world to watch their horses compete.” I mean, that doesn’t sound too bad to me. Frank and Pettifleur have been together for nine years, but she is totally not waiting for a ring. Pettifleur told the Daily Mail that marriage for her is, “Once bitten, twice shy and three times you're a dummy. I feel like when you get married you get taken for granted. It's a wonderful place I'm at, so I would never want to jeopardize that.” Pettifleur’s already been married twice, so I can see why she doesn’t have the urge to rush into it again.
The couple is also very private — there are literally no pictures of the two of them together on her social media. Red flag? No, I don’t think so. I mean, Pettifleur and Frank have been together for nine years and don’t feel the need to share their relationship on the Internet. I’ve been with my husband for seven years and I think there are 5 pictures total of us. Some people just don’t want to be photographed! At least there are pictures of Pettifleur and her handsome sons.
Not only are Pettifleur and Frank partners in life and love, they also have worked together in the business world. She’s a property developer and, according to the Daily Mail, she set up a group of apartments in Melbourne’s Malvern East in 2014 and put them up for sale for $6 million. The land the properties sit on was purchase by Frank’s company, BY FJP Pty Ltd, in 2008. Between their horse investing and the property development, it seems as though these two are really peas in a pod. They must share a very special connection to be able to live, love, and work (a little) together.
Will we see Frank on Real Housewives Of Melbourne? To be honest, I doubt it. Being a Real Housewife doesn’t mean that you have to reveal every aspect of your romantic life, and it seems like Frank and Pettifleur like to keep their life together as quiet as possible. Plenty of Bravolebrities don’t feature their spouses and children on the show (Cameran of Southern Charm got married and we have only seen photographs of her husband Jason), so it’s not a deal breaker, per se. This way, Pettifleur can let the drama on Real Housewives Of Melbourne stay between the ladies on the show — she doesn’t have to bring it home with her.
