The Internet's Best Tim Kaine Memes So Far

Tim Kaine — that name might not ring a bell now, but get used to it, ladies and gents. On Friday evening, Hillary Clinton announced that Senator Tim Kaine would be her running mate, according to The New York Times. This isn't surprising to those who have been following the news. Nearly every outlet has been speculating over the last few weeks that the Virginia senator would be her right-hand man on the Democratic ticket, and right they all were.

If you're wondering who in the world Tim Kaine is, let's review his resume. According to Bustle's Hillary E. Crawford, he's a "middle-of-the-road liberal" with the ability to "attract moderates and independents alike." Kaine was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended the University of Missouri and Harvard Law. He would become a city councilman in Richmond, Virginia, Lieutenant Governor in 2001, and then the Governor of the state in 2006. Before he became Senator in 2012, he was the chair of the DNC, appointed by President Obama. Needless to say, Kaine is a safe pick for Clinton, but again, not unexpected — most people assumed that she wouldn't go for anyone flashy or surprising.

In sum, he's got a lot of experience, which is exactly what Clinton was looking for. In June, Clinton told Anderson Cooper that she was looking for someone who "could be president immediately if something were to happen — that's the most important qualification."

But as safe of a pick as he is, with all of the experience that he has, the meme world does not discriminate. The internet is already filled with memes and tweets aplenty about our potential future vice president.

Without further ado, here they are:
