Urban Decay's New Highlighter Palette Is So Lit
Truth: No one can have enough NAKED palettes. According to Allure, Urban Decay's NAKED highlighter palette, featuring three shimmering highlighters in never-before-seen shades, is coming to stores near you. The NAKED Illuminated Trio was debuted by UD on the brand's Instagram page alongside their entire 2016 holiday collection, and it's gorgeous.
The Urban Decay NAKED Illuminated Trio palette features three highlighting shades: Pyrite, a gold-champagne hue, Oasis, a marbled frosted taupe, and Twilight, an iridescent pink. Of course, the pros at UD also included a dual-sided fluffy flat brush for application. UD announced the news on the brand's Instagram page, posting an image of what's to come in the Urban Decay 2016 holiday collection. i reached out to the Urban Decay representatives, but everyone is keeping mum on the details of this release. While we aren't sure the exact date the highlighter palette goes on sale, what it costs, or how to buy it, it's easy to guess that the Illuminating Trio will be released just in time for holiday festivities.
Currently, you can buy NAKED Illuminated individual compact highlighters in Aura, a pink shade, a pearly hue called Luminous, and a bronze color called Lit. The new palette is the first highlighter palette ever created by the brand, which is big news. UD is known for blockbuster eyeshadow palettes, especially in the NAKED family. We already have the NAKED Basics, NAKED Ultimate Basics, NAKED Smoky, NAKED2 and beyond.
UD's individual highlighters retail for $32 and the NAED Flushed palette — a highlighter, bronze, and blush trio — goes for $32 as well. We can only hope the new highlighter palette is as affordable.
The versatility of this palette is off the charts. Very fair skin could potentially have a bronzer, blush, and highlight with these shades, while medium skin tones can use the highlighters ontop of or below a blush or bronze to make it pop.
I am in love! Urban Decay may be gearing up to bring us the best holiday collection yet.
