A single, sparingly-topped bagel is sort of on the lighter side of breakfast, but if you're looking for something heavier, then the Black Tap special-edition goth bagel burger is for you. This jaw-dropping collaboration, featuring a black and white bagel from The Bagel Store, is sure to fill you up and give your brunch an edgier feel. Move aside, green juice and fruit plates. Why choose between a breakfast sandwich and a burger when you can just have both?

Black Tap, a bar and grill with two locations in New York City, will be serving this truffle bagel burger for two days only (today, Sept. 10 and tomorrow, Sept. 11). The truffle bagel burger is basically a hefty bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich — plus a burger — built on a special edition bagel featuring black sesame, black sea salt, pepper, and truffle essence. Now that's one thoroughly-themed sandwich.

Their black and white bagel source, The Bagel Store, might sound familiar. It's because The Bagel Store was responsible for last year's bagel craze, the rainbow bagel (complete with Funfetti cream cheese to match). What on earth will those guys think of next? Between the black and white truffle burger bagel and the rainbow bagel, The Bagel Store has shown that it's got a handle on both the salty and sweet sides of the baked spectrum.

So, without further ado, here's the goth bagel in all its glory. Hungry yet?

If you won't be able to make it to New York on such short notice, you can learn how to make a bagel burger at home, via Tasting Table. In addition to basic bacon, egg, and cheese ingredients, you'll need some hamburger, truffle oil, and bagels. As a substitute for The Bagel Store's black and white bagel, you could choose pumpernickel for a bit of the same dark vibe.
