Katy Perry Delivered Her Sister's Baby... Again

Listen, I'd do a lot of things for my sister. Like, I don't know, lend her my shirt or pick her up from the bar when she's a little too tipsy. Maybe I'd even let her have the last Double Stuf Oreo if I was feeling particularly generous. But, the one thing I haven't considered doing is delivering her potential future child. I know, how selfish of me. But I suppose that's just because I'm not Katy Perry. You see, the singer isn't merely an entertainer, she's also apparently an unofficial part-time midwife. Case in point, Perry helped deliver her sister's baby yet again, subsequently putting all other sisters everywhere to shame.

The thing that makes this second delivery even more impressive than straight up helping her sister, Angela, give birth to her niece and/or nephew and their sibling, is that she was so nonchalant about it. I mean, of course the star was over the moon about her family's new addition, but she's such a pro at baby delivering at this point that it was kind of just another day at the office for her... literally. Because she actually went to her office the birth. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Perry both delivered a baby and recorded songs in the same damn day.

She wrote on Twitter, "Helped deliver my sister's baby at 2pm & am in the studio by 8pm. GET A GIRL THAT CAN DO BOTH," with an exclamation, baby, and microphone emoji to top it off.

Now, if that's not grounds for her own superhero comic to be produced to the masses, I'm not sure what is. There has to be some kind of a catchphrase, slogan, or song we can get going that makes note of birthing a baby and making music within a six hour span.... I'll get back to you on that.

As per her tweet from her sister's first delivery, she even "helps deliver babies in living rooms," so we should probably make sure to note in her superhero theme song that she makes house calls, as well. Superhero aspirations aside, it looks like Perry had quite a memorable Monday.
