When Do Kat Von D Beauty's Refillable Shade + Light Contour Pans Come Out? You Don't Have To Wait Much Longer

In midst of all the new makeup launches, an oldie but a goodie is getting even better. According to the company's Instagram, Kat Von D Beauty is launching Shade + Light Contour refillable pans. It might have taken the brand a while to perfect the bestselling product, but it was definitely worth the wait. When can you shop the Shade + Light refillable contour and highlight pans? You don't have to wait much longer, my friends.

When Kat Von D Beauty's Shade + Light Contour Palette first came out, it was definitely a game changer. The six-color kit launched right at the height of the contouring trend, which made it a must-have. Now it's back and even better, if you can believe it. According to a post by the company, the face hues from the palette will now be sold individually. That's huge news considering that, until now, once you used up your go-to colors, you'd have to buy an entire new palette.

As of Sept. 27, you'll be able to buy individual contour and highlight shades from the kit on Sephora.com. That means you'll have a few shopping options. Either you can buy the whole $46 kit to test the shades out or you can buy only the ones you want and put them in z-palettes.

What took the company so long to come out with refillable pans, you ask? Well, they have a good reason. According to her Instagram, Kat Von D has been working to make sure all of her Shade + Light Contour Palette hues are completely vegan. Up until now, a few of the shades had carmine in it, which is made from bugs, according to Live Science, but not anymore!

Now you can shop all the contour and highlight colors without feeling guilty. Kat Von D is a cruelty-free brand, and many of their other products are vegan too. In my opinion, it's pretty awesome that she's adding another bestselling product to the animal-product free list.

The company mentioned in the post that they're coming out with even more Shade + Light Contour colors too. The new shades won't be available until next year, but it's still something to be excited about. The makeup brand just keeps getting better and better!
