These New Fall Peeps Are Delightfully Cozy

Ah, seasonal candy. What is better than strolling the aisles of your local grocery store and realizing that, yes, indeed, there are brand new treats for you to celebrate the upcoming holiday event with? According to Delish, Cinnamon Roll Peeps should hit shelves starting on Nov. 1. While many of us associate Peeps with Easter (because whether or not you actually celebrate Easter, you're hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't enjoyed those fluffy little birds and rabbits), Peeps' new seasonal flavor looks pretty darn amazing. And what time for a better release than when we're all craving warm and cozy cinnamon rolls to warm us up on the soon-to-come chilly fall mornings?

Bustle has reached out to Peeps for more information and will update this post if/when we hear back, but in the meantime, here's what we know so far: Candace Braun Davison at Delish describes them as "dipped in a cinnamon-flecked fudge that's slightly tangy, like cream cheese frosting, adding a little crunch to the pillowy treat"— so basically, they're cinnamon rolls made out of marshmallows that you can pick up while you're running errands at your local pharmacy. Yum, right?

It's worth noting, too, that Cinnamon Roll Peeps will be sold exclusively at Walgreens. It's not unusual for some seasonal treats to be available only at specific retailers; last year, for example, Pumpkin Spice Peeps were a Target exclusive, so it's perhaps to be expected that these cinnamon-flavored delights would find their home at one place only. (For what it's worth, Pumpkin Spice Peeps are available from the Peeps website right this very minute, if that's how you roll.)

Pricing information isn't currently available, but we can make a pretty reasonable estimate based on what other Peeps typically run for; for example, Pumpkin Spice Peeps are $2.75 for a three-pack, according to the Peeps website, as are most of the other chocolate-dipped varieties of the sweet treats. As such, it wouldn't be surprising if Cinnamon Roll Peeps cost roughly the same.

As of right now, there doesn't appear to be an end date for these tasty treats in sight, but as with all seasonal items, it's generally best to assume they won't be around forever. So yes, this is your encouragement to get them while the getting is good!

I guess dreams really do come true!
