There are two types of people who watch Big Brother. There are those who simply tune into the broadcasts on CBS (which is already quite a commitment at three episodes a week) and then there are those who subscribe to the Live Feeds. These committed souls pour over 24/7 recordings from within the Big Brother house to gain insight to the players, the gameplay, and live the ultimate voyeuristic experience. While this is exciting news for many Big Brother fans, others may find this schedule overwhelming and are just interested in watching the broadcast-style episodes that will provide summaries of in-house events. When will the episodes for Big Brother: Over The Top air? Let's just say, there will be something to watch every single day.
The upcoming premiere of the online-exclusive Big Brother: Over The Top seems to be catered to the Live Feed viewers, as for the first time in the show's history everything — including competitions and diary room segments — will be aired live online. But, if you don't have the time to dedicate to watching the live feeds and keeping tabs on all the players, do not fear. CBS has released an official schedule for BB:OTT Weekday Replays, Live Diary Room Segments, and a weekly full episode for those who want to tune in with minimal time commitment. Here's the rundown of all the programming that will be featured as a part of BB: OTT.
Weekly Full Episode — Wednesday 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT
For fans of the hour-long episodes that Big Brother airs three times a week, BB: Over The Top will be offering a similar episode every week on Wednesday evenings. CBS promises that these episodes will offer "A rundown of the week’s events, followed by the live eviction ceremony," as well as the Live Eviction at midnight ET/ 9 p.m. PT.
Weekday Replay — All Other Weekdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT
On all weekdays that don't have full episodes, there will still be content for anyone who wants to catch up on the day-to-day happenings inside the house. Weekday Replays will air on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and provide "A quick recap of all the crucial moments that happened throughout the day."
Live Diary Room Sessions — Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT
For many fans, the best part of the episodes are the diary room sessions where the houseguests are allowed to speak their mind about what is going on in the house. For BB:OTT, diary room sessions will be performed live following Weekday Recaps on Tuesdays and Fridays and provide unprecedented insight into the houseguests process.
Safety Ceremonies — Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 p.m ET/7:00 p.m. PT
For weekend watchers, Big Brother will offer live programming in the form of "Safety Ceremonies." Although BB: OTT will be featuring familiar BB elements such as the Head of Household and Power of Veto, it seems that the show will be adding in "Safety Ceremonies," whose true nature is TBD.
There are still other parts of BB:OTT programming that are as of yet unscheduled, including a Live Q&A with houseguests and interviews with the evicted houseguests. These will air in addition to afternoon reveals and competitions related to the returning Power of Veto and Have-Not elements of Big Brother. With so much to watch, BB: OTT could very easily become your new fall TV obsession.
