As a host on E! News, Giuliana Rancic has interviewed practically every celebrity in America. From the Oscar red carpet to her "Beyond Candid" interview specials, she's had her fair share of talking to celebrities and getting them to answer tough questions live on camera. However, like every professional early in their career, Rancic faced her fair share of professional battles, including difficult interviews and unruly celebrities unwilling to speak up. When faced with the question of who has been her most awkward interview thus far, Rancic had one celebrity name specifically on her mind.
"Duh! Russell Crowe was so mean to me," Giuliana told Andy Cohen. "I had been at E! for a year and I thought, 'I'm going to go easy because he's pretty tough.' And so I said, 'Are you excited to be here? Your big movie premiere.' And he goes, 'I'm contractually obligated to be here. What's your next question?'"
The interview only got worse. "And I go, 'OK, um, isn't it so wonderful to see all the fans?' And he goes, 'That's your second question?' And then he goes, 'One, two, you're through' and walked away."
Sounds like the Oscar winner might be easy on the eyes but not so easy on the heart. Ease up, Crowe.
