Bella Hadid's Blue Camo Pants Are So 2002

When I was in third grade, so roughly 2002, I remember asking my mom to buy me a pair of baggy camo pants. She obliged, although probably unwillingly. Little did we know that oversized camo pants would come back so quickly, as evidenced by the blue camo pants Bella Hadid wore while out in Tokyo on Tuesday.

In what is quite possibly the most 2000s throwback outfit of all time, Hadid wore oversized blue camo pants with a black sports bra, a black zip-up hoodie and a black newsboy cap. Yes, you read that last part correctly. But of course, because she's Bella Hadid, she makes the combo look effortlessly cool.

I think I would be lying if I didn't admit that I am a little excited to see the resurgence of trends from the 2000s. Yes, many of them were embarrassingly questionable, but they were the trends I grew up wearing. They were the foundation upon which my personal style was built. And I can only assume that Hadid has a similar point of view considering she was born in 1996.

Moral of the story, camo is clearly making a comeback among trendsetters like Hadid, so it is only a matter of time before you start seeing it everywhere.

So early 2000s.
