Kim Kardashian Reportedly Hires New Security After Her Robbery & Their Resumes Are Impressive

Even though it's been a full week since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France, she has yet to speak out on social media about what happened. But thanks to the endless stream of news coming in about what's next for her, it sounds like she's about to make a lot of major changes in her life in order to avoid an incident like this happening to her again in the future — including adding a few new staff members to team. According to what sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Kardashian is reportedly beefing up her security, and the rest of her family may be getting in on the action, too.

Allegedly, Kardashian has hired former Secret Service agents as her protectors, and is planning to travel via armored car from now on — with at least two members of her security team with her at all times. As the report goes, Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, have been interviewing people over the last few days, and this is the solution they've come to. And unsurprisingly, Kris Jenner has reportedly decided to apply these same changes to her other daughters, as well, to prevent them from becoming targets like Kardashian was.

Bustle has reached out to reps for Kardashian and the Kardashians-Jenner family for comment on this report, but has not yet received a response.

It's good to hear that Kardashian might be being more proactive about her safety. It's hard to imagine the effects that an experience like this one has had on her, so it would make a lot of sense that she wanted to do anything she could to feel safe again. And since she's probably one of the most well known faces in the world, a couple of Secret Service agents can't hurt.

So many changes are coming for Kardashian now, especially since last week, E! announced that filming for Keeping Up With The Kardashians is on hold indefinitely. And if the reports that Kardashian is planning to pull back on social media from now on are true, the way Kardashian relates with the world (and has built her career) is going to be totally different when she decides to go back to work. For as long as she's been in the spotlight, Kardashian has been an open book, and if she suddenly becomes more private, it's going to come as a shock to so many of her fans.

But if she has hired an intense security team like this, maybe it will offer her enough peace of mind to be herself again eventually. It would suck if she let this experience keep her from living her life in a way that makes her happy, and Kardashian deserves to feel secure in whatever way she decides works for her.
