The event takes place on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, but the most important question is, how can you get tickets to iHeartRadio's Z100 Jingle Ball? It's time to get prepared.

The tour makes several stops across the country, with variations in the line-up depending on which city you're in. The New York City line-up for the Z100 Jingle Ball, which takes place at Madison Square Garden, is nothing short of awesome, featuring the likes of Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, and Britney Spears. There's likely to be huge demand for tickets to such an iconic, and seasonal, event, so you're going to want to be ready as soon as tickets go on sale. Here's everything you need to know.

Your first stop should be the official iHeartRadio page for the Jingle Ball 2016, since it lists the all-important on sale times for tickets, including pre-sale details. If you're lucky enough to be a Capital One cardholder, you'll have access to a special pre-sale, on October 13, from 10 a.m. local time, and that sale will be on until tickets run out. It's the first chance you'll have to get your hands on tickets.

The tickets officially go on-sale to the general public from Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. local time.
