Clown Porn Searches Are Rising & Women Are More Into It Than Men

The power of the subconscious never ceases to amaze me. It made sense that the recent clown attacks news and creepy clown sightings across the U.S. and the UK would make people remember the circus or their fear of clowns from childhood. What I wouldn't have thought is that it would make people say,"You know what, I really want to check out some clown porn!" And yet, that's exactly what happened.

Pornhub has reported that in early October, right around the clown attacks, there has been an increase in clown porn searches. And not just a little increase. In fact, clown porn searches have increased by 213 percent. And I don't really understand.

Now, is it that people are seeing the attacks and just really getting the urge to go home and look for some clown porn? Or is it something that happens without us really being aware, that the things we see on the media just lodge themselves in our subconscious and come out via porn searches? The world may never know. But we do know that people like clown porn— and they like it even more when there have been creepy clown attacks everywhere.

But that wasn't all, here's what else they gleaned about clown porn habits, because apparently that's a thing:

1. Clown Gang Bangs Were Popular

So, "clown porn" and "clown girl" were the most popular searches. But "clown gangbang" came in third. Others that I thought deserved honorable mention were: "birthday clown" (talk about niche), "clown fart" and "clown feet". Because that's seriously a little bit of everything. Considering that people were searching for crazy, killer, and scary clowns, it looks like some people were definitely going in with the clown attack vibe, rather than just clowns generally.

2. Women Were More Likely To Search Than Men

I wouldn't have thought that clown porn would be a gendered porn desire, but apparently it is. Women were 33 percent more likely to search for clown porn than men.

3. People Turn To Clown Porn When Circus Porn Just Doesn't Do It

What I found most interesting was what people were searching before they looked up clown porn. What it was that was in the right genre, but didn't quite do it from them. While the most popular were "circus", "juggalettte" (which some googling tells me in an Insane Clown Posse thing), and "harley quinn", it got way more niche than that. "Mime" and "Ronald McDonald" were my favorite, even if this ruins my childhood. But I also like the idea that some people searched for just plain feet and then thought, No, no, no — 'clown feet'. Imagination is truly limitless.
