The Seasonal 'Gilmore Girls' Posters Are Magical

by Courtney Lindley

Seasons are a crucial element for the impending Gilmore Girls Netflix revival. We know this because the revival is titled A Year in the Life and is split up into four episodes: "Winter,” “Spring,” “Summer,” and “Fall." Now, Netflix has released seasonal Gilmore Girls posters to take you through a year in the life a little early. Once you see them, prepare to feel the way Lorelai feels when it snows. That is, delighted and enamored and convinced that everything looks more magical now.

Though the Gilmore Girls revival will be released in the fall, it will begin with the coldest months of winter, then continue to spring, summer, and close with an autumnal episode. As for what to expect when we meet up with Lorelai and Rory come November, there's been plenty of theorizing, but we are nowhere close to having it all figured out. One thing we can probably bet on, though, is that A Year in the Life kicks off with a Stars Hollow snow storm. Which means there will be even more coffee consumption than usual, probably a a lot of winter hats, and, most definitely, pure Gilmore Girls happiness. Even if that last one was already kind of guaranteed. Check out the seasonal posters below.

Winter

Though it's not quite in full storm mode, boy is this snow kicking up some winter Gilmore Girls memories. Like Lorelai says, "Flakes, flurries, swirls, crystals. Whatever form it comes in, I'll take it." There's no better place for the revival to begin than with some snow.

Spring

A lot of things happened during the spring months in Stars Hollow. We had the renaissance wedding where Luke and Lorelai shared their first dance, that time Rory and Paris went on Spring Break together, Taylor's Spring Fling, and who could forget the thousand yellow daisies Max gifted Lorelai? Expect some big changes during this part of the revival.

Summer

By the looks of this poster, a Stars Hollow summer will involve the Fourth of July. Or maybe just the Annual Stars Hollow End of Summer Madness Festival? Either way, the days of summer will be lazy, hazy, and, more than likely, crazy.

Fall

Fall, otherwise known as the time of year when we first met Rory and Lorelai. It's the perfect way for Gilmore Girls to end, right where it all began.

Rory, Lorelai, and all of the seasons will return to Netflix on November 25.
