Swimsuitsforall's Gym To Swim Activewear Is Rad

by Gina Jones 2

Have you ever wanted to jump off the treadmill and straight into the cool embrace of the pool? Well, the future is now, and your hopes and dreams are a reality. Swimsuitsforall's new Gym To Swim line includes plus size activewear that doubles as swimwear, and the collection is pretty epic.

The new collection is designed to be especially comfortable for a range of sizes, "developed specifically to help plus size women feel and look their best while working out," according to EPR Retail News. The news site also notes that the line has been made with current designs in mind, giving a nod to current athletic apparel trends but expanding the size range considerably from the usual fare.

The main draw of this inclusive collection is the versatility of each and every item of clothing. Instead of changing between the gym and the pool, you can dive straight in with these chlorine resistant garments. The extra coverage is a plus for anyone who wants to go a bit more modest at the pool, and the ability to go from one activity to another without stopping is perfect for anyone not looking to take a break between their preferred forms of cardio.

The collection is available in sizes 8 - 34 and has pretty much every garment you could ever need at the gym or in the pool available, with most pieces available as separates in case you want to mix and match. The tops include sports bras, tanks, short-sleeved T-shirts and long-sleeved swim shirts, as well as bike shorts, capris and leggings. Swim tops and bottoms are also sold separately, just in case you want to mix and match.

With their unique and fashionable designs, these garments wouldn't look especially out of place on the street either — so skip out the changing room altogether and arrive at the gym ready to work out and get your swim on. It also makes planning so much less of an issue: You don't have to pack for the pool, so you don't have to decide until you're actually at the gym whether you want to take a dip or not.

"With the athleisure trend on the rise, we wanted to design a collection that lets you work out any way you want — in the water or at the gym, said Sara Mitzner, Creative Director at swimsuitsforall, in an email to Bustle. "With the Gym to Swim collection, we’re delivering the same level of style, support & quality our customers love in our swimwear, now designed for use anywhere."

Hopefully, this revelation in athleticwear will catch on to make trips to the gym more flexible. No longer do you have to go with one activity in mind: You really can do it all in this trendy and versatile collection.
