Do Any Couples From 'MAFS' Season 4 Stay Together?

by Alaina Urquhart-White

It's always fun and expected to see at least one of the couples from Married at First Sight decide to stay together. Usually the experts get it somewhat right (because, odds) and we see two people that actually start to care about each other throughout the season. But, unfortunately for Season 4 of Married at First Sight, the experts' choices for the couples haven't proved to be completely compatible. If you have been watching then you probably have thought the same thing; it doesn't really seem like any of these people belong together. But, are any couples from Season 4 of Married at First Sight still together?

Heather and Derek seemed to be doomed from the jump and Nick and Sonia should just go ahead and throw in the towel at this point. I mean, only Lillian and Tom almost seem like they could possibly form a relationship worth fighting for. For the others, they can just move on and consider it a learning experience at this point. Of course, that being said, we have yet to see the final outcomes for all of the potential soulmates. Will any of them stay together? Here's how I think things will shake out.

Heather & Derek

We already know that Heather and Derek are no longer trying to make their marriage work. The couple decided to split and when Heather was asked how soon she would like to sign divorce papers, she said she wanted to as soon as possible.

Lillian & Tom

In my humble opinion, Lillian and Tom are the only couple that have a shot here. The main issue seems to be that Lillian's career as a successful real estate agent makes Tom feel like she is putting her job before their relationship. I could write a 10 page thesis about why this is ridiculous, but that's the issue at hand here. Lillian seems like she wants to make Tom feel like their relationship is a priority, and he does seem like he is willing to work through this speed bump, so I think these two could possibly agree to stay married.

Sonia & Nick

These two need to give it up. They are not right for each other; it is so obvious that it is uncomfortable at this point. I mean, Nick just told her he is not attracted to her. That should be your cue to walk out the door and chalk this whole thing up as a loss. They are not even living together anymore. Roll the end credits because it's over.

I mean, it goes without saying that this is what tends to occur when you agree to marry a complete stranger on a reality show and then have your first few weeks of marriage filmed. I am sure all of these people didn't fully expect to meet the man/woman of their dreams, but hopefully at least one couple will make it out together in the end. And, if none do, there's always Season 5.
