The First 'Bachelor' Trailer Is Here & Nick Viall Is Already Turning On The Charm
The new episodes don't premiere until January, but the first promo for Season 21 of The Bachelor has officially arrived. Bachelor Nick Viall is fully prepared for the occasion with a rose and suit in the short trailer, which debuted on Friday. It's a Halloween-ready clip, with the voiceover announcing that "the next scream you hear may be your own." Screams then greet Viall, as he flashes his smile for the camera. (You can watch the 10-second Bachelor promo on E!'s site here.)
It goes without saying that Viall is an old pro. He's been on three Bachelor franchise shows prior to this upcoming season. Fans will remember the charming and often outspoken contestant from both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's seasons of The Bachelorette, as well as from the latest edition of Bachelor in Paradise. If you didn't happen to catch those, here's some background: Viall is a software salesman and model from Wisconsin who, at age 36, is older than the average Bachelor. His sibling count is also higher than the norm: Viall has 10 brothers and sisters. In a previous interview with Bustle, Viall said he's looking for a confident woman, who's assertive and challenges him. Hopefully he will finally find love on the upcoming season, which airs in January 2017.
While the trailer doesn't reveal much about what will actually happen in Season 21, spoilers about the upcoming season have given us a taste of what we can expect on the show. Contestants range professionally from models to dental hygienists, though some have noted that their age range has not increased proportionately to Viall's relatively advanced age. There will be dates at a carnival, the beach, and most excitingly, a Backstreet Boys concert. It also looks like some of Viall's pals from previous seasons will be making an appearance.
As for the rest of the details, you'll have to wait until the new year to find out.
