What Are The Best Days To Shop Online For The Holidays? Get Ready, Shoppers
If you're a savvy shopper, chances are you're already thinking about the best days to shop online for sales and deals this holiday season. Chances are also high that you've heard of the Google Chrome extension Honey. In case you haven't, here's the CliffsNotes version: It will automatically apply discount coupon codes to your purchases while you're shopping online. It's a serious time saver which takes all the hassle out of using discount codes while you shop. Instead of desperately searching for free shipping codes while you're checking out or making an online purchase, the extension does it for you.
If you haven't already downloaded the extension, I'd highly recommend it. But even if you already have it, Honey's new study about the best days to shop online is bound to catch your interest. Considering Honey naturally collects tons of data about how and when people shop, I'm not surprised it's putting that trove to use. But its new research about the best days to use coupon codes to shop online is making me rethink just when I'll be making online purchases this holiday season.
The info Honey gathered is pretty interesting. Apparently, the best day to online shop with coupon codes is Nov. 26. Considering that's right around when Black Friday and Cyber Monday are, that makes a ton of sense. Here's what else Honey found:
It looks like Thanksgiving week is the time you'll save the most money, but it's good to know there's a few days in mid-November and early December when you can still save. Plus, isn't it super interesting that you may actually find better deals on the Tuesday after Cyber Monday than on the day itself? I guess it sort of makes sense — stores may be tempted to discount even more after Cyber Monday sales.
Although I've barely started thinking about holiday shopping, it's good to know I have a few weeks before the prime shopping days of the year. And if you're like me and do the majority of your shopping online, Honey is a must-have for your Google Chrome browser.
