More updates about Kim Kardashian post-robbery continue to come out, and this time it's not from a direct family member, but rather a family friend. Lance Bass opened up about Kim Kardashian's robbery during a Wednesday segment with Access Hollywood Live. Seeing as he is close with Kris Jenner, the former *NSYNC member would know not only how Jenner is feeling, but the rest of family, as well. "I spoke to Kris right when it happened. Of course, the family was devastated over it. I mean, it’s something that I don’t think people are going to get over for a very long time. That’s got to be a traumatic experience."
And in no surprise whatsoever, Bass also revealed that during what can only be imagined as a difficult time, the Kardashians are all supporting one another and have each other's backs. "But, you know, they’re all together and are obviously a very supportive family," he said. "You couldn’t ask for a better family to go through something like this together."
He also noted that the horrific ordeal Kardashian underwent is something that won't go away anytime soon. "She’s kind of staying out of the limelight for right now and just kind of recovering from this. This is going to live with her for a very long time. It’s very sad." He tried to explain how Jenner is feeling after having her daughter experience something unimaginable, and said, "You couldn’t imagine your own child going through something like that. All the worst things go through your head of what could have been."
Bass' words reflect what both Jenner and Khloé Kardashian have said previously about how Kardashian is doing. "It's a process," Jenner told E! News in October. "One day at a time. It's just a process. What can I say?" The momager also noted how she is trying to be the best mom she can right now, "You do what a mom does and you gather around and you make sure that she feels loved and safe."
As for Kardashian's younger sister, she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October, "I mean, she’s not doing that well. I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together. And we do appreciate all of your guys' love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her."
It's clear that Bass' words ring true. The Kardashians are one close family and that's exactly the type of family you want by your side during such a hard time.
