The Best Shoe Deals of Thanksgiving 2016

Shoes are one of those things that are generally worth the investment — there's no horror like the blisters that won't quit, the chafing, the rubbing, the betrayal a low-quality shoe can hold. But alas, usually quality shoes at a cheap pricepoint are the impossible dream, thanks to things like "paying for quality." Not so for shoes on Black Friday and Cyber Monday: The rules go out the window.

So where's worth looking for the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2016 shoe deals? Here's a comprehensive list of everywhere selling soles at a discount this holiday season, from major players like Bloomingdales and JCPenney to more boutique options that you should still give a browse. Boots are the hot ticket fall item (so it always has been, and so it always shall be), and there's nothing like clicking purchase on a pair you know you'll be wearing ASAP, with everything.

But then again, the delayed satisfaction of grabbing the perfect summer sandals or floral spring lace-ups... it's enough to make someone look forward to the future. We've gotta take what we can get, and with deep cuts the Black Friday season giveth, we can get all of it. Or at least most of it.

1. JCPenney

JCPenney is taking 50 to 60 percent off of women's boots on Nov. 24. Yes, I did a double takes while writing that sentence.

2. Lulus

Susie Olive Suede Ankle Strap Heels, $32, Lulus.com

Lulus' deals run from Nov. 23 through Nov. 27 — just sign up for their newsletter to get in on cheaper prices for things like these olive beauties.

3. Amazon

Bucco Sayge Womens Fashion Heeled Boots, $44.99, Amazon.com

Amazon kicked off their Black Friday deals early, and with sale stock updated daily, it's definitely worth a bookmark.

4. Bloomingdale's

Via Spiga Prim Ankle Strap Peep Toe Booties, $117 (Was $195), Bloomingdales.com

Bloomingdale's Black Friday sale starts Nov. 25, but they've listed available sales on the same page, and they are very enticing.

5. Entourage Clothing

Entourage Clothing has teased a mysterious Pre-Black Friday sale on Nov. 18, so be sure to sign up for their newsletter for more details.

6. Overstock

Overstock is known for their excellent deals, which means their Black Friday sale will be in a league of its own. Get a look at the goods, some of which are already sold out — which means the prices their handy-dandy countdown clock is ticking toward should be crazy.

7. Macy's

While they haven't released their official Black Friday ad yet (it should be dropping any day now), Macy's legendary Black Friday sale typically has deep cut shoe bargains. And their Cyber Monday stock — while also without details, timing-wise — is ready with tons of previews, so don't lose hope.

8. Ugg

The selection isn't live yet, but Ugg is teasing a pre-Black Friday sale, so sign up for their email list to be the first to hear. Pure, unadulterated fluff.

9. Steve Madden

If Steve Madden's Black Friday sale is anything like last year's, discounts should be around 30 percent off in stores and online (plus free shipping, including sale items). They haven't listed details yet, but Thanksgiving grows ever closer.

10. Kate Spade

Details are as yet unlisted, but definitely check out Kate Spade on Black Friday. Last year saw 75 percent off online, plus free ground shipping over $175 dollars.

11. Urban Outfitters

Past years have seen Urban Outfitters Black Friday discounts ranging from 30 to 50 percent, so definitely peruse the goods now to cherrypick what you want going in.
