Kim K Is Reportedly By Her Husband's Side

by Nicole Pomarico

By now, it's obvious that the latter half of 2016 has been pretty rough for Mr. and Mrs. West. First, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in France last month, and then, on Monday, Kanye West was hospitalized for exhaustion after canceling the remaining shows on his Saint Pablo tour. Normally, the fam would give us their own updates on what's going on in their lives, but since Kardashian has yet to return to social media following her attack, there's a lot more mystery involved about what could be going on behind the scenes. So where is Kardashian now that West has been hospitalized? There's been no official confirmation yet, but it seems likely that she's been staying by her husband's side. (Bustle has reached out to Kardashian's rep for comment, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.)

On Monday night, Kardashian was reportedly planning to attend the Angel's Ball, which would have been her first public appearance in more than a month. But after the news about West broke, it wasn't surprising that her family showed up to honor Robert Kardashian without her. And according to what John Legend told CBS This Morning, it seems that Kardashian was with him and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, while everything with West was going on.

Legend told the morning show, "We were with Kim, actually, right before all of that. I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he's getting some rest and some time to figure things out." It's unclear what he, Kardashian, and Teigen were doing at the time, but at least she was with friends during what had to have been a very difficult day.

So where's Kardashian now? According to what a source close to the situation tells Us Weekly, she "rushed to be by Kanye's side" as soon as she found out what happened. TMZ adds that Kardashian was in New York at the time where the ball was being held when he was admitted, but she reportedly wasted no time getting on a plane back to LA to be with her husband.

Hopefully, another update on how West is doing is on the way — and that it's a positive one.
