With the new year quickly approaching, it's time to reflect back on the music of 2016. If there's anything we've learned from the past year, it's that good beats and catchy lyrics go together like wine and cheese or me and my couch. The top charts of 2016 have provided music lovers with an array of new songs to belt out in the car and on the karaoke stage. So, if you're in the midst of planning your New Year's Eve celebration, you should probably consider adding karaoke to your repertoire. There are a ton of 2016 songs to include on your 2017 karaoke playlist.

If you're anything like me, you just cringed at the thought of singing in front of anyone. However, whether you're a fan of singing in public or not, there's no denying just how amazing this year's music has been for the beloved karaoke machine. Be honest: you secretly know all the words to each of the songs that's played on the radio at least 1000+ times. The catchy songs of 2016 may even be enough to get you out of your seat. Leave your fears of public singing behind. Honestly, this playlist would probably get me onto the karaoke stage. (Just don't tell my friends that.)
