For those of us that identify as "beauty-obsessed," we can get pretty, well, obsessive when it comes to new releases and innovative products. And when we become consumed with the next great thing, what do we do? We take to social media and post about it to make sure we're not longing for something alone. So if, like me, you happen to be wondering what exactly we coveted most this year, I've rounded up some of the most viral makeup products of 2016.

And let me tell you: It was truly a beautiful year. From rainbow highlighters, to celebrity collaborations, to sweetly-scented palettes, there were a bunch of really awesome makeup products that we couldn't stop thinking about.
