9 Fleece-Lined Leggings To Shop For Winter 2016, Because Being Cold Is The Worst

Dressing for winter is fun — if you live in a temperate or tropical climate and get to wear stylish jackets and cute booties, instead of parkas and snow boots. As a resident of Minnesota, I get to freeze for roughly six months of the year, but fleece-lined leggings have become my secret weapon to surviving the cold each year.

When the 2014 polar vortex struck, I had to resort to layering leggings to survive the cold. It was not optimal, but it did keep me from getting frostbite and for that I am grateful. However, I've since discovered the magic of fleece-lined leggings, my life has been much warmer. I would argue that fleece lined leggings are pretty life changing, since you don't have to give up comfort for warmth.

Okay, so if it's -40 degrees out, you might want to layer even your fleece-lined leggings, but for a regular below freezing day, fleece-lined leggings really do the trick. One of the best parts about winter is that you basically have an excuse to be comfortable at all times — you can pair your fleece-lined leggings with your old Ugg boots (never giving up shoes this warm, sorry), fuzzy socks and a cozy sweater with little to no judgement. This might be the only part about winter I like, now that I think about it.

Anyway, here are 9 pairs of fleece-lined leggings to keep your legs nice and toasty all winter long.
