Here's a riddle: I visit once a year, but when I stay, I really make myself at home. I mess with the clocks, I fiddle with the thermostat, I impact your overall mood (for better or for worse), and I replace everything in your pantry with peppermint- and gingerbread-flavored snacks (for better or for worse). What am I? Look, I dig winter. I’m not here to drag its name through the cold slushy mud or whatever.
