Two new Avengers will assemble in the upcoming sequel The Avengers 2: mutant twins Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. And Marvel is getting closer to finding their Quicksilver... with someone who already has some superhero experience.
Aaron Johnson, star of 2010's hero comedy Kick-Ass, is the frontrunner for the role, The Wrap reports. If he is cast, he'll have to hold his own next to Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and the rest of the Avengers team. Then again, he survived a Nicolas Cage movie, and nothing can be harder than that.
