Did LeToya Buy Beyonce's New Album?

by Kristie Rohwedder

Gosh darnit, there's no denying the awesomeness that is Beyoncé’s latest album! Just ask LeToya Luckett, Single Ladies star and former member of Destiny’s Child. Oh wait, you don’t have to ask her. TMZ already did that for ya. Luckett bought BEYONCÉ, said she is "on board" with Mrs. Carter's latest endeavors, and called the covert album drop “genius.” Right there with you, Luckett!

While this reply isn't that shocking (Luckett told Wendy Williams back in Jan. that she's cool with Queen Bey and Kelly Rowland), I was delighted to hear it. You know, given their not-so-happy past. This response was so positive! So kind! So supportive! No backhanded compliments to be found! (I can be a petty jerkwad, so yeah, I'm taking notes.) A lesson to us all! Crap happens, but tension and grudges aren't healthy. There might be a part of her that's still pissed (who wouldn't be pissed if they were ousted from Destiny's Child?!), there might be a part of Bey and Rowland that's still pissed, but hey. They all seem to be relatively good now. And it warms this Destiny's Child's fan's heart.

Are you a little rusty on the history of Luckett and Beyoncé? Rather than provide you with a straightforward rundown, I thought it’d be fun to tell it in song. The tune of the song? Various Destiny’s Child tracks, naturally. A medley!

Well, that was too much fun for a Tuesday. Here's Luckett's reply:
