Does Sansa Love Littlefinger? (Yuck)

by Casey Rackham

Sansa and Littlefinger kissing in the tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a Littlefinger baby in the baby carriage. Yup, Game of Thrones' Sansa and Petyr Baelish might totally have actual feelings for each other. Like legitimate feelings for each other, which is so, so, so creepy, it's not even funny. Just the thought of them kissing (for a second time) gives me the heebie jeebies. Because, just, ew. It's freakin' Littlefinger, for God's sake. But the thing is, who the hell knows what even goes on in Sansa's mind? She's done some pretty crazy stuff.

Basically, there are three options here in the Sansa-and-Littlefinger love department:

She actually likes him.

Listen, it could happen. She loves anyone who's nice to her and Littlefinger has gone out of his way to "save" her multiple times, even if it's mostly for selfish reasons. Plus, Sansa needs a new love interest since Tyrion and her split up.

She doesn't like him at all, and she's just faking it.

She definitely didn't start out a smart girl, but she's learned how to woman up (even if it did take her almost four seasons to figure it out). So that means that she could just be playing everyone so that she can live another day. After all, this is the game of thrones.

She's not sure how she feels.

Which basically means that she does have feelings for him and she's just not ready to admit because it's Littlefinger and she gets how weird that is.

Basically, she claims that she lied for him so that he wouldn't be sent flying through the moon door, but, I mean, she gets enamoured quite easily, so it's completely possible that she has feelings for him, even if they're just the tiniest feelings. And even if she doesn't like him, like him, well, who's to say that she won't fall in love with him eventually? Remember when Daenerys was matched up with Drogo and she basically hated every second of it? Well, then she decided to fake it until she made it, which resulted in her growing actual feelings for "her king." So, no, it's not completely crazy to think that Sansa and Littlefinger could end up the happiest couple in the Seven Kingdoms. (Which is not saying much considering that almost every couple in the show is unhappy).

But either way, Littlefinger totally has feelings for her. Just check out the way he looks at her. (Yes, it's creepy.)
