Tiffani Thiessen Gifted Chris Paul the Greatest '90s Throwback Gift Of All Time — PHOTO
How much do you love the '90s? Not as much as the Clippers' Chris Paul, who just got the greatest '90s throwback birthday gift of all time. White Collar's Tiffani Thiessen gave Chris Paul a signed Kelly Kapowski headshot for his birthday and it's official — Thiessen gives the best birthday gifts ever. According to the report by Us Weekly, Paul has called Thiessen's '90s poster-child, Saved By the Bell character his "first love". And every '90s baby and Kapowski-loving fan is so jealous.
Paul turned 29 on May 6 and, knowing that he carried a torch for Zack Morris' girl, the 40-year-old actress sent the NBA player a signed, vintage headshot. Thiessen wrote to Paul, "Chris, happy birthday my dear," and signed her name with a heart on the classic photo of Kapowski wearing a signature floral crop top and rocking an epic blowout. Be still my '90s-baby heart.
And, naturally, Paul reacted like anyone would to getting noticed by their adolescent celebrity crush. The NBA star posted a photo of the gift on his Instagram account on Tuesday with the caption:
This is easily one of the best Bday gifts I've ever received in my 29yrs on this Earth!!! #KellyKapowski#My1stLove #WeWereTogether #SheJustDidntKnowIt#CuzImSavedByTheBell
Those hashtags are just unreal. And here's the photo:
Thiessen noticed that Paul had uploaded the photo and re-grammed him shortly after on her own account, adding to his caption, "I'm blushing. Hope you have an amazing birthday." As if she didn't know that she'd just given Paul the greatest gift ever. Iconic, a great gift-giver, AND humble? As if we didn't love Tiffani Thiessen enough as it is.
