Your World Cup Celebrity Doppelgangers Are Here ¡Olé, Olé, Olé!
Ladies and germs, grab your vuvuzelas (it's an instrument, not a genital!), for the FIFA World Cup is finally upon us! Even if you're not the biggest soccer/fútbol fan in the world, it's easy to get caught up in the energy and excitement around the event. It is, after all, the most popular sport in the entire world and pretty much everyone except Americans are losing their minds right now and exhibiting levels of national pride that would put the 4th of July to shame. It's like the Super Bowl of the Olympics, folks and I, for one, am luh-ving it.
This year's international championship is taking place in Brazil — because you know, we needed more offensively good-looking people other than the players themselves. As we all watch the World Cup and envy the tans of everyone in sight, we will without a doubt be ogling a player or two or three hundred.
Sure, these players might seem a little dramatic when they roll around on the field after being lightly pushed, their salaries might make your stomach churn, and yes the games are very, very low-scoring... but the cute bums! So many cute bums! You're also guaranteed to see some of the most intense and high-flying athleticism there is in the entire world. I'd rather watch this than a bunch of giants tackling into each other and stopping the clock every 12 seconds any day of the week (Fútbol Americano).
To celebrate the World Cup, I've compiled a list of our favorite players and their celebrity doppelgängers. Let's do this.
