I write about fashion every single day of the week and because of that (and the fact that I love it), fashion is something that finds it's way into almost every part of my life. I take pride in how I dress, and anyone who knows me knows that fashion is "my thing." Whatever that phrase means, right? Given this, whenever I find myself sitting in a coffee shop typing away in workout gear or an old sweatshirt (which happens quite a bit, depending on how busy I am), I have a self-conscious, "Ugh, I am so NOT fashionable right now. What will everyone think?" moment. But apparently, even the fashion elite have a rough day every now and then.
In reality, no one is thinking about my outfit at all when I'm in workout gear. Even though the only one who probably cares is me, it still makes me a little self-conscious to be drastically underdressed. But I figure if Cate Blanchett can wear a pair of crocs and a wet suit on her days off, I can give myself a break when it comes to wearing sweatshirts every now and then. However, I will still be avoiding Crocs in any circumstance. Ever. I love you, Cate, but Dior to Crocs is a stretch that I simply do not ever want to understand.

Cate Blanchett
Even though both my most stylish and worst looks are somewhere in between these too, something about Cate Blanchett wearing Crocs just makes me feel good about myself. If she can be fabulous in Crocs, then I can be fabulous in anything too, right? Right.
Kelly Osbourne
Oh, Kelly. So many hairstyles, so little time. Really though, Kelly Osbourne has pretty much been to hell and back when it comes to hair and makeup (as many of us have been while growing up). But now, Osbourne looks AMAZING pretty much all the time. You go, girl.
Mila Kunis
The girl likes her sweatpants. Head-to-toe sweats to red carpet knock out. And she's pregnant? If that's not inspiring, I don't know what is.
Britney Spears
I understand dressing down in casual pieces sometimes. It's easy and comfortable. But adding studded platform sandals to the mix? Can not compute. But I guess it's Britney Spears and, well, we don't have to understand her for her to remain fabulous.
Eva Longoria
Uggs are like the fur-lined version of Crocs. Actually, I think fur-lined Crocs exist and are way worse than Uggs. But I digress. As someone who appreciates the comfiness of a pair of Uggs (I wear mine as slippers), I feel like Eva and I could easily be BFF. We have a connection.
Mary-Kate Olsen
For a while, Olsen pioneered the way for 'homeless chic' to make a name for itself in fashion. Do we understand it? No, but she's an Olsen twin and whatever they do is fashionable.

Ok, so this one isn't really that hard to understand. It's Miley. She does what she wants.

A tapered-leg pair of sweatpants and socks? Ok, probably one of Beyoncé's less chic moments, but somehow she still made it cool. Are any of us Beyoncé? No, but it's the principle of the matter. I think.
