Jonah Hill Officiated Adam Levine's Wedding & It Probably Went Something Like This
So, the world didn't end and I haven't seen any flying pigs, either, but word on the street is that Jonah Hill officiated Adam Levine's marriage to Behati Prinsloo. Like, for real, guys. This is something that happened. Listen, I'll give credit where it's due. I understand that Jonah Hill is talented. He's been known to get a chuckle or three from me in his movies, and he absolutely impressed me with his performance in The Wolf of Wall Street. I even got a new found respect for him after learning that he did the movie for a minimum salary in order to seize a once in a lifetime opportunity. His sacrifice showed a dedication and a maturity he wasn't able to flex with his other, less serious roles. But, all of Hill's positive attributes aside, marriage officiant?
According to E! Online, I'm totally wrong in my disbelief because apparently Hill did a bang up job. It was noted that he was (obviously) funny, well timed, and sincere when he needed to be. You'll have to excuse me, though, because when I first heard Hill was the master of ceremonies at the Levine wedding, I imagined it went something like this:
HE'D SHOW UP IN A BAD ASS SUIT
The doves are for effect.
AND HE'D OPEN WITH A PRAYER
THEN HE'D REALLY GET TO THE HEART OF THE MATTER
You're a lucky girl, Behati.
BUT HE'D MOST CERTAINLY NOT PUT UP WITH RUDE OR BOISTEROUS GUESTS
HE'D FREAK ONCE THEY KISSED
AND OF COURSE, HE'D GIVE THE OTHER ATTENDEES THE CHANCE TO SHINE DURING THE RECEPTION
That's the way it should be. Minus, Leo DiCaprio. He wasn't there too, was he?!
