Meet Kris Jenner, The Chef

by Kaitlin Reilly

Kris Jenner is a lot of things. She's a manager, devoted matriarch, and Kim Kardashian's enabler. And, apparently, she's also a great cook. According to People magazine, Kris isn't satisfied with running the Kardashian empire — she also wants to be the next Rachel Ray. According to the magazine, Kris Jenner is releasing a new cookbook titled In the Kitchen With Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites. (Kolor me stoked.)

According to People, the book will feature Kris's favorite recipes as well as entertaining tips she picked up over the years. That's all well and good, but there's one problem with Kris's latest venture, and that's the fact that this momager isn't exactly a DIY kind of mom. How many times have we seen a wait staff at a Kardashian-Jenner family dinner? You know, one at her actual house? A lot. And while I am so not judging for that (believe me, if I had Kris Jenner money, I'd have someone preparing and serving me every single one of my meals) it's a little odd that she's suggesting that she has a ton of entertaining tips for the regular mom next door.

Then again, Kris is no stranger to cooking... even if we don't see much of it on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Want proof that Kris knows her way around the kitchen? Just check out the clips below from her (short-lived) talk show's cooking segments. Of course, Kris is more student than teacher in these segments, but at least she doesn't set anything on fire. Check them out.

See? Kris can totally write her own cookbook. (Oh, sorry... kookbook.)
