When Will Her Baby (or Babies) Arrive?

It's the time again, ladies and germs. Let's get ready to play our very favorite game — when is the pregnant celebrity due? In today's edition, we're focusing on Zoe Saldana. Oh yeah, if you haven't been on the interwebs for the past few days, Zoe Saldana is pregnant! Mazel tov to Saldana and her husband Marco Perego on the news of their first child. Especially exciting is the fact that, reportedly, Saldana's eggo is prego with not one, but two little bundles of joy. Oh yes, the Saldana-Perego household is about to double in size, and the arrival of the two newest family members is less than a year away. But when, pray tell, is Zoe Saldana due exactly? It's time to do some baby sleuthing...

Unlike your mom after a few glasses of Chardonnay, Saldana is unlikely to share details of her conception with the public. She was decidedly un-enthused with the leakage of this personal detail, not because it was untrue, but because the news of her pregnancy was spread by people other than herself. Beyond specifics though, we have some clues to assess the progress of her nine months.

Our first example comes to us from Good Morning America. Page Six online reported that Saldana arrived to the talk show on Monday in a fitted ensemble, showing a conspicuous baby bump. Yep, that's an oven with a couple buns in it, alright. From the looks of it, the Guardians of the Galaxy actress may be several months along already.

Above, we see her at the world premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy on July 21. This was right before she came out publicly with news of her pregnancy. I mean, that's a significant baby bump the actress is sporting. Let's move in for a close-up. From the looks of it, this may be a three-month belly, possibly four? I dunno... this is the "how many jellybeans are in this jar" stage of the game.

Okay, let's go back a bit farther. Saldana covered the August issue of Marie Claire in a curiously covered-up outfit for the dog days of summer. I mean, fall is around the corner and all, but methinks this was a styling decision geared towards masking a burgeoning pregnant swell. Print publications often shoot their cover stories several months in advance, so we can posit that this was potentially shot as early as May. It's possible that Saldana has been pregnant since then.

Furthermore, pregnancy rumors have been swirling for a while. In late June E! Online published an article, speculating that Saldana was expecting far before news of her pregnancy was confirmed. The site noted that the actress was photographed throughout the month wearing some curiously covered-up looks for summer. Now that we have the power of hindsight, we can guess that Saldana's twins were already chillin' in her womb at the time that this article went live.

Hmm, so this is going to be a creative guessing game. We can estimate that Saldana was pregnant in June of this year. After all, a preggers belly needs at least a couple months to look noticeable. It's very possible that she was even pregnant back in May, judging from certain styling decisions. So, if we assume that she's about three to four months along, the baby will be born around December 2014 or January 2015. Around the holidays, be on look out for the arrival of these kids who've already pretty much won the genetic lottery.
