Star-Studded 'Hair' Cast Geek Out on Social Media

Sometimes, celebrities geek out over things, too. And by "things" I may or may not be referring to the Adam Shankman-directed Hollywood Bowl performance of Hair . Yes, that Broadway show. You know, that one where everyone gets naked and has sex and does really off-the-cuff sorts of activities. It's 2014 now guys, I think everyone could stand to be a little less uptight about some public nudity anyways. Especially when you have such an amazing cast as the one Shankman has on his hands with Kristen Bell, Sarah Hyland, Hunter Parrish, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Mario.

The cast's experience with rehearsals has been well documented, and they apparently can't wait to make their transitions from screen to stage. And, really, when you think about it, this is quite the statement to make with your first theatrical appearance. But I'm sure theater veterans like Bell and Ushkowitz are just anxious to get back out there, belt those resplendent voices, and rediscover the feeling of being in front of a live crowd. Regardless of experience, though, one thing remains clear: these actors have put their sweat, tears, and time into this production and they're truly proud of it. The show is set to premiere on Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. at LA's Hollywood Bowl.
