9 Reasons "Bang Bang" Should Be the Zankie Anthem
Somehow, this became the last week we have to enjoy the Zach and Frankie showmance on Big Brother. Despite the fact that Zach and Frankie can't keep their hands off each other and have professed to be in love with one another, HoH Nicole Franzel is determined to get Zach out of the house, the other house guests are on her side, and Frankie can't very well jeopardize his game just to keep Zach around. Big Brother's about winning money, not about finding love. Still, since we all know that Frankie is Ariana Grande's brother even if the house guests haven't realized that yet, and since we all know that Ariana Grande is a huge Zankie fan herself, it isn't a stretch to think that there are some of her songs that would make the perfect theme song for Zankie. In fact, the chief among them is her latest song, "Bang Bang" by Jessie J with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.
"Bang Bang" is a very sexual song about wanting to have a good time with a guy you like — if you know what I mean — and that's basically Zach and Frankie's relationship in a nutshell. Despite not having known each other long, and despite Zach identifying as straight, all Zach and Frankie ever do is hang all over each other, joke about hooking up, and drive everyone insane wondering when they're finally going to take the plunge. If that's not enough to convince you, let's apply some of "Bang Bang"s lyrics to the Zankie relationship.
She got a body like an hourglass, but I can give it to you all the time.
There was a time when Zach had his sights set on Victoria. No, really. It might not have come up very often on the show, but "Zachtoria" was and still kind of is a legitimate showmance for those who like to focus on the fact that Zach is actually really, really straight. (Really.) However, Zach and Victoria don't spend nearly as much time together as Zach and Frankie do, so Frankie does, quite literally, give it to him all the time.
She got a booty like a Cadillac, but I can send you into overdrive.
Then there's the fact that despite admitting to Cody that he "sweats" Victoria (which is bizarre vintage slang for liking someone), Frankie is the only person in the house that Zach has had such a profound physical reaction to. The first time Zach saw Frankie climb out of the shower, he was practically erupting with praise about Frankie's hotness and Frankie's body. In fact, he tells Frankie how hot he is all the time.
See anybody could be bad to you, you need a good girl to blow your mind.
Zach is the self-professed villain of the house who likes to stir the pot and, of the two of them, Frankie would be the "good" one who keeps all of his machinations on the down-low. They're both partners-in-crime whenever they want to be, but Frankie's definitely at least more social and likable. Ironically, of the two, Zach is the only one who hasn't actively thrown Frankie under the bus yet, but, hey, Zach doesn't know what.
Bang bang, all over you.
Do I even need to explain this one? No? Okay.
No I don't need to hear you talk the talkJust come and show me what your momma gave
At this point, Zach's attraction to Frankie is all talk and very little action. Oh, sure, Zach is affectionate, but he's not taking things to the next level because apparently he can't back any of that talk up. One diary room video from a Big Brother episode revealed that Frankie is outright waiting for Zach to make a move at this point.
You've got a very big mouth, but don't say a thing.
Was this line outright written with Zach Rance in mind or...?
See anybody could be good to you, you need a bad girl to blow your mind.
Just like Frankie would technically be considered the good one of the two on the surface, Zach's title as the house villain would make him the bad one getting ready to blow Frankie's mind. And, oh, how Frankie's mind has been blown. He even uses Zach's volatile nature and willingness to run with just about anything to help him in the competition. Zach is basically his little tornado.
If he hanging, we banging.
Please. Please? Please!
