First 'Better Call Saul' Trailer Is Short 'n Sweet

by Mallory Schlossberg

It was only a matter of time before your favorite strip mall lawyer gave you a tiny preview of his upcoming AMC show and now, thanks to Uproxx, we have a first look at Better Call Saul starring Bob Odenkirk. But be warned — it's a video taken of a video. That said, it's short, so the low quality doesn't ruin the experience that much.Apparently, this teaser trailer (which some wise and generous viewer caught on video to share with the rest of the Internet — how thoughtful of you!) premiered, appropriately enough, during a Breaking Bad marathon.

The teaser lets us know that come Feb. 2015, we'll be privy to Saul's backstory. We won't, however, be privy to a Walter White-Saul Goodman crossing of paths in Better Call Saul, so break out your commemorative jumpsuits in honor of the memory of White because there's no way he'll appear in this prequel series unless, of course, we get a zombie apocalypse at the end. But judging by what we know about the series, that seems a little out of step with what the producers are aiming for.

So, check out the teaser trailer below and get ready for the Better Call Saul premiere in early 2015.
