5 Things To Know About this 'Atlanta Exes' Star

Sure, everyone has probably dreamt about marrying their favorite celebrity, having their kids, living in a beautiful mansion with them, and living happily ever after. What most of us probably don't consider is what can come after all of that. It wasn't all champagne, caviar, and roses for the cast of VH1's Hollywood Exes, so you can pretty much bet that the new roster of celebrity exes on Atlanta Exes, including Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond, have some skeletons to pull out of their former flames' closets.

Tameka will star alongside Cee-Lo Green's ex Christina Johnson, Kevin Hart's ex Torrei Hart, and others. VH1 describes her as a woman "who once enjoyed the perks and privileges that come with being married to an international music superstar, and now dedicates much of her time to the charitable foundation she started in memory of her late son Kile." You could go into the first episode of Atlanta Exes, which premieres on Aug. 18, with that information alone, but I figured you might want to know a little bit more about Tameka before the show begins. SHE'S A MOTHER

Tameka and Usher have two sons together, the absolutely adorable Usher Raymond V and Naviyd. She also has two sons from a previous relationship and tragically lost another son, Kile, in 2012 following a jet ski accident. When it comes to matters of the kids, she and Usher take things very seriously. They were involved in a custody battle over their two boys that ended with Usher being rewarded custody of his sons, despite harsh allegations from Tameka that he was an absent father and a cheater.

And A CELEBRITY HAIR & WARDROBE STYLIST

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Tameka works as a stylist when you see how on-point her own fashion sense is. She also started her own lifestyle website, Style Whim.

SHE LOVES HATS & SELFIES

Tameka's Instagram is just like that of any other normal human being. She has plenty of selfies, pictures of what she's having for dinner, and a trend I've noticed is that she really loves hats. And clearly, she knows how to rock them.

SHE'S Moving FROM HER GEORGIA HOME

Tameka and Usher's 2009 divorce settlement reportedly allowed Tameka to stay in their house, but also gave Usher the power to sell their Georgia mansion as long as he gave Tameka 60-days notice. This season of Atlanta Exes will show Tameka packing her things and leaving the marital home she shared with Usher and their children.

SHE'S HAVING SOME DRAMA WITH FELLOW CAST MEMBERS

Rumors have been flying around that Tameka would be leaving the cast of Atlanta Exes. In an interview with Madame Noire, Tameka said that she did not quit the show, but did admit to considering it after being involved in "petty arguments." It looks like Tameka is here to stay!
