These Brothers Are Getting Their Own Reality Show
It's been almost a decade since Nick Lachey starred in Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, which means I've spent almost a decade hoping and waiting for Lachey to make a reality-TV comeback (and no, hosting The Sing-Off doesn't count). According to TheWrap, 98 Degrees singers and brothers Nick and Drew Lachey are set to star in A&E's Lachey's Bar . (Since Lachey's Bar is a working title, might I suggest "Give Me One More Night"?).
The 10 half-hour episodes will follow the brothers as they open a bar in their hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio and consequently venture into the highly entertaining world of running a family business. And lucky for us, according to A&E, the brothers pretty much know nothing about how to run a bar:
Despite their lack of knowledge about running a business, these determined brothers are ready to roll up their sleeves and learn the ins and outs of running a place where everybody knows your name. Unfortunately, drinking experience doesn't necessarily translate into drink-making experience … but they're ready to learn.
Considering that we can pretty much assume that the show has been directly inspired by A&E's Wahlburgers , which follows, you guessed it, Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, does this mean that any set of famous siblings can have their own reality series? God, I hope so. In case A&E is looking for any more reality-show ideas, here are some siblings that would be totally fun to watch run a family business:
The Olsen Sisters
You can think of Mary-Kate, Ashley, and Elizabeth Olsen as the classy version of Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian. They would definitely run the shit out of a hip clothing store. Plus, this means that Mary-Kate and Ashley's older beaus would probably make an appearance.
Chris, Liam, and Luke Hemsworth
Just think about how much money they would make if they were to open up their own massage place. I mean, they'd probably make more money from that then from their acting careers...
Jessica and Ashlee Simpson
Listen, if Nick gets a show, then Jessica should get a show. It's only fair. Couldn't you see these two running their own doggy salon? So many suds.
Luke, Owen, and Andrew Wilson
Is it weird that I think they would run a family camp during the summer or a shooting range? It must be their rugged yet shaggy looks.
Zooey and Emily Deschanel
Oh, they'd definitely have their own stall at a flea market. How quirky.
