The Homoerotic 'Sherlock' Trailer You've Wanted

by Kate Ward

We're still unsure as to when Series 3 of Sherlock is headed to our small screens, but, in the meantime, a South Korean TV network has filled the void in the best of ways.

Seriously, you need to prepare yourself. Ready? Okay, here we go: For whatever reason, OCN (Orion Cinema Network), a network headquartered in South Korea, has opted to present the stars of Sherlock, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, as a will-they, won't-they homosexual couple. (And by "for whatever reason," I mean "for completely logical reasons," because who wouldn't set their DVRs for this series after watching this teaser?) And, guys, the result is so, so, so much better than Series 1 and Series 2 of Sherlock combined. Watch OCN's teaser embedded below, and then watch it five more times after that.

There's only one problem with OCN's version of Sherlock: Now, after watching it, we simply cannot go back to a regular season of the series. It's simply not elementary, my dear Watson, to cope with a series that doesn't pit Cumberbatch and Freeman as star-crossed lovers. Especially after we've waited thus long for their reunion.

Tell me, Cumberbitches, what shall we do?
