Wear Her Surprisingly Sweet Shade This Fall
Diane Kruger does so, so, so many things right. (Truly, it would be more accurate to say she does basically nothing wrong.) She pulls off insane, intricate braids with the blink of an eye; she can wear couture Christian Dior gowns unlike any other; and she shines as a muse to esteemed brands and designers like Karl Lagerfeld, the aforementioned Dior, and Jason Wu, for whom Kruger is designing her very own handbag. Oh, and did I mention that she does all of this without the help of a stylist? So yes, she’s basically a fashion god (and most definitely my ultimate style icon).
So when someone of Kruger’s stature and fashion savvy wears a stunning hue in a fall silhouette on the red carpet, we should all stand up to take notice. And that’s exactly what happened on Thursday, when the former model and The Bridge star made an appearance in Berlin, Germany for the 2014 IFA Consumer Technology Fair Trade opening gala. Wearing a full-length, long-sleeved Prada dress drenched in a pretty peach hue and embellished with gold beading along the neckline and bodice — a look she paired with a royal purple clutch — Kruger was absolutely radiant in her fall-ready number.
Though fall is typically full of muted, neutral, and earthy hues, Kruger’s pastel number will have you craving something brighter, softer, and more playful for the upcoming season. And when paired with shades of tan, cream, burgundy, and more, it creates a look that wouldn’t be a bit out of place once the weather cools down. So what are you waiting for?
