The white hair/gray hair/granny hair beauty trend just got a major boost, courtesy of none other than Rihanna. The granny hair movement AKA the gray hair trend on young women can be a hard look to pull off, but when it's Rihanna, level of difficulty is never an issue.

RiRi, who is known for sparking style crazes like the septum piercing, rocked a long, wizard-like white wig in her Tush magazine cover story and photo spread. She also worked white eyeliner on her lower waterline, which made her look like the chicest alien in the galaxy. The deep berry lips made a whole other statement, as did her powdery pout. The feathery, adorned ensembles added a warrior element to the overall presentation, sort of like her recent W cover.

You know, it looks like white makeup is about to be a new beauty trend, thanks to RiRi. So without further adieu, here's Rihanna in all her granny, gray, and otherworldly alien glory.

She tweeted the images late Wednesday night, to the delight of all her fans. Sorry, Instagram! It looks like your breakup with RiRi remains in effect and you are never ever getting back together.

Her styling in this spread reminds me of Nicole Richie at the 2013 Met Gala, a look which RiRi vehemently expressed her love for.

Anyone else feeling inspired to go for the gray?
