What Caused Scott's 'Hamptons' Hospitalization?

by Paige Tutt

Rest easy, Kardashian fans. It looks like multiple sources have confirmed that Scott Disick's hospitalization this past June, which seems to have been caught on an episode of Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons , has resulted in nothing too serious. Here we are three months later and Scott seems to be back to his usual self. Just a few days ago he was as active on Instagram as ever, posting four photos: one of a new chair he had purchased, one of a flyer for a Halloween party in Canada that he's hosting (not to mention Brody Jenner is the guest DJ and Audrina Patridge is a guest), one of a couch he wants for his media room, and one of him post-workout plugging some sort of ab toning gel that he "uses." But I know you're all wondering about why he was hospitalized in the first place, because I certainly was.

TMZ reported that Scott partied a little too hard while out in the Hamptons in June. Scott allegedly couldn't string together a sentence and felt like someone had drugged his drink. Upon going to the hospital, he was reportedly found to have alcohol poisoning. Apparently, this incident with Scott's binge drinking and hospitalization occurred just days after Kourtney kicked him out of the house for similar behavior. Kourtney, who often stays home when Scott goes out, has always had issues with Scott's rowdy behavior.

But there might have been another incident that was even more worrisome. The Examiner claims that this season of Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons also captures an alleged suicide attempt by Scott. In the trailer for the new show, we are shown an empty bottle of pills surrounded by beer bottles, and if you listen closely you can hear Khloe say, "He took the entire thing, every pill." Scott is then shown in a hospital bed, with a doctor telling him, "The combination of drugs is not a good mix." However there is no evidence that this was a suicide attempt, and I'd hope that E! wouldn't use that to promote one of its shows.

As multiple seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians have shown, Scott has always had an issue with toning down his drinking and party boy ways, but with a third baby on the way, I worry. Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons seems like it'll show Scott at one of his lowest points and I just hope that Scott can seek out and receive the help he needs to get him through this trying time.
