These Fringed Rocha Heels From Paris Fashion Week Just Made Me Remember What It Is To Love Something
I think I'm in love. Okay, I admit it: I have fallen in love on a daily — nay, hourly! — basis during this past month of fashion weeks. But my latest infatuation comes in the form of the tinsel-fringed slingback pumps that just walked the runway for Rochas. They're everything I've ever dreamed of.
Granted, there are a lot of things to fall in love with at the various fashion weeks, especially on the accessories side of things: there were the to-die-for Barbie-inspired handbags at Jeremy Scott's Moschino presentation, there were Anya Hindmarch's highly Lisa Frank-reminiscent ultra-luxe handbags, there were the neon colorblocked sandals and mini-handbags of Burberry. Even J.Crew got in on the action with a crinkled iridescent metallic clutch that I might just be willing to sell my soul for (except now that I'm thinking about it, I can probably actually afford it, since it's J.Crew). And that's just the accessories.
But these shoes. These shoes take the fashion cake. They're pulling a total Mary Poppins on us; they're practically perfect in every way. From the elegantly-detailed long sequins that give the toe of the shoe a decidedly high-fashion (not to mention glitzy) almost furry look, to the delicate adornments that grace the back of the stiletto heel, these shoes are a total winner. Take a look:
I don't know if I've ever wanted a single pair of shoes so badly.
