ICYMI: Demi Lovato Has Blue Pixie Haircut, Nicole Kidman Went Bleach Blonde, Plus 3 Other Celebs Who've Switched Up Their 'Dos This Week
This week has ushered in a lot of new things — the first week of fall, the first week of October, the month of Taylor Swift's new album, the countdown to Halloween, and a lot of new hair colors. Celebrities including Nicole Kidman and Demi Lovato debuted new hair colors this week, and they have us seeing shades of blue, blonde, and even red. It's safe to say, it's been a hair-raising week in Hollywood.
I had hoped the long bob was all the change we needed for our locks this season, but apparently a fresh, new color is the next item on the to-do list. So before you contemplate that trip to the salon or the darker dye job to reflect the change in seasons, you might want to take a look at what colors inspired celebrities this week, because contrary to popular opinion, I don't think there's one shade that is going to be the color of the season. In fact, I think you have a whole color spectrum at your disposal, so get out your color wheels and decide which hue suits you, because it is going to be one bright and colorful fall. Tradition is overrated, anyways.
1. Nicole Kidman
Kidman showed us that darker is definitely not better for fall. The actress took her signature red hair a bright shade of blonde for Thursday night's launch of Omega's new watch. Personally, there is no look better for her than Satine in Moulin Rouge, but the bright blonde keeps her fresh and summery even in the fall.
2. Demi Lovato
Lovato took a page out of Kylie Jenner's book and debuted a bright blue head of hair.
3. Vanessa Hudgens
Hudgens debuted her red Halloween hair on Instagram, natch.
4. Suki Waterhouse
Bradley Cooper's girlfriend kept it a bit more traditional, swapping her blonde hair for brunette, because blondes don't always have more fun. And if Bradley likes it, I'm so down.
5. Ashley Tisdale
The newly-wed started married life off with a bang, and a huge burst of color from her lavender tipped hair.
