Eyes-Wise: Let Georgia May Jagger Inspire You...

by Alyssa Shapiro

A '60s flick is all the rage with eyeliner these days. Take Alexa Chung, who sports the look perennially, or look to the fall runways of Dolce & Gabbana and about a hundred others. It's universally flattering and with a steady hand, relatively simple to complete. We've seen it a million times over, and still it looks good.

Taking a cat eye in a slightly different direction, literally, is the model Georgia May Jagger, daughter of rock 'n' roller Mick Jagger and model Jerry Hall. Yes, she has cool running through her veins, but her makeup at the 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty launch party in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday would look cool on anyone, lineage aside.

Notice the downturn on the inner corners of her eyes, elongating the line of her eye, making them seem even bigger. With an otherwise simple beauty look that includes a rosy pout, we can focus our attention where best deserved.

Sephora just came out with this interestingly shaped liquid liner. It's ergonomic, thanks very much. Form follows function in this case to help with a steady hand for precise application, which is just what this look needs.
