Major Hair Inspiration from Bridal Fashion Week

by Rosie Narasaki

New York, London, Paris, and Milan's respective fashion weeks may all be over now, but in my opinion? Bridal Fashion Week blows everyone else out of the water! Silk organza trains, floor-length veils, clouds of tulle — it's like all of the best elements of the pretty, pretty, fashion world and all of your friends' wedding pin boards got... well, married (sorry, couldn't help myself).

Anyway, there's so much to take inspiration from — the gorgeously soft-focus makeup, the daring silhouettes, the fairy tale-esque veils — and last, but not least, the hair. Bridal Fashion Week's hair game is strong, ladies: so prepare to hold onto your hats. Plus, there's a little something for brides of every persuasion. Fairy princess romantic? Give Reem Acra's incandescent flowery updos a try. Chic modern with a twist? Go for origami-inspired like Carolina Herrera. Retro romantic? Look to Naeem Khan's Old Hollywood brushed out waves — and so on, so forth.

With that in mind, here are some of the creme de la creme of the best hairstyles from the best shows — read on to see some of the prettiest hairstyles ever: Because no matter the venue (barefoot in the forest to traditional big church), Bridal Fashion Week's got you covered.
