He Cries When She Sings & It's Almost Too Cute

by Alana Milich

If you're a sensitive soul and you haven't let out a big "AWWWWWW" yet today, I invite you to do so at the conclusion of my next sentence. In a recent interview with U.K. paper The Times, Lady Gaga explained that her boyfriend Taylor Kinney cries whenever she sings onstage. Commence "AWWWWWing" now. Isn't that the sweetest thing you've ever heard? Don't you want to rush home to your partner/stuffed animals and ask them why they aren't as sweet and sensitive as Chicago Fire star Kinney? Seriously, step up, lesser men. If your lady diva is singing her heart out onstage with or without Tony Bennett, you best be crying tears of sweet love and devotion, or you're going to get kicked to the curb.

All snark aside, this is pretty darn cute. Gaga told the paper, "He's the first man that I have dated that, when I sing onstage, he cries. That means more to me than anything." She said that Kinney is incredibly supportive of everything that she does and "loves her from the inside out." And it seems that they're definitely serious about it, since reports surfaced a few days ago that Gaga and Kinney held a commitment ceremony in New York City.

Considering that these two have been dating since 2011 when they starred together in Gaga's "You and I" video, it seems that all of her interesting career and outfit choices are not too weird to drive Kinney away. She explained, "He is completely blind to the way that I dress, my creative process as it is — he knows me as the Italian-American girl my mother and father gave birth to."

Check Kinney and Gaga out, just chilling at a Garth Brooks concert. This looks like a happy couple. If Kinney can deal with the wigs, makeup, extravagant personality, and unpredictable schedule of an eccentric pop star, then she really deserves him. And this simple, normal (LOL) Italian-American girl wants a family one day, and it looks like she's on track to have a couple Gagettes with Kinney. She revealed last year that she wants at least three kids and couldn't imagine life without a family.

Gaga has been very open and honest about the influence her family has had on her life and career, and it makes sense that she would want to pass some of the experience she had onto the next generation. At last year's Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Gaga said of her family history, "My mother is the most remarkable creature I’ve ever known. She’s remarkable because we went through this whirlwind in my life and she’s able to see the true girl behind the aura that’s hidden deeply in there." Being able to see through the facade of stardom to the real girl inside seems to be a theme in Gaga's life, making it even easier to see why her relationship with Kinney works so well.

Just because she's living the crazy life right now, that doesn't necessarily mean she doesn't want to settle down with her emotional hubby and her adorable babies and sing them lullabies while everyone cries. I love how Kinney just seems so normal in comparison to Gaga. If and when they do get formally hitched, I can see it being a tiny, intimate ceremony with close friends and family and then a giant Gaga weird and wild party afterward to celebrate. And naturally, Kinney will probably be shedding some tears.
